Beautiful cuddly friend
This kitty is beautiful! the picture doesn't do her justice. She's subtly sparkly and still soft. She loves sitting on my pink bed!

My daughter loved this gift. Strawberry Cloud leopard is soft and cuddly and is coloured in a beautiful pink hue. Even it's name is pretty. This leopard is different to her other webkinz "pets" in that it is a fantasy creature. What? Leopards aren't really baby pink with brown spots?
She enjoys playing online with all of her webkinz pets and Strawberry Cloud Leopard is no exception.
A pretty, girlie toy and a wonderful addition to her Webkinz collection.

Fun webkinz

My daughter has this webkinz for Christmas. She is 9 years old, and it is the perfect gift for them and their friends. The stuffed animal is cute, but more fun, is access to the site. We had a few problems first started with our account register, but it was either just a bad time (XMas morning at 8:30,;) or something with the setup on our system. We had to adapt the browser and restart. After that they spend hours enjoying the games and room setup. The children are loving this collection.

We bought this for our son as his first Webkinz. He absolutely loves it! My only complaint about this stuffed animal is with the construction. On the second day he had it, he took it with him to my Grandmothers house and she had to sew it up for him. She found three or four small holes on the seam. It seems like the construction could be done better.

The Webkinz Pink Pony is very cute and has blue spots on it! It is just like the pegasus, but it doesn't have wings, and it is much less pricy.
I named mine Angie, she has pretty pink sparkling hooves and Cotton Candy like colors. Such as pink, blue, white, and the sparkles on her feet are rainbow!

This "so ugly he is cute" friend is one of the webkinz line of toys. He is cuddly in his own way. More of a bruiser, than a lover. The whole internet component is a nice benign playplace for kids, but lacks more of an educational value. There are some aspects of math and certainly budgeting there that are important to learn, but there are also many games that could be improved upon to include vocabulary, writing and math.

I had never bought a Webkinz before but my granddaughter wanted one for her birthday and I ended up buying two, the German Shepherd and a Lab.

I was impressed with the Shepherd, it is soft and touchable and has the cutest face. My granddaughter grabbed it up right away and fell in love with it. We haven't been on the website yet so I'm not sure how that will go, but we look forward to it. They are a little pricey, but so far they definitely have brought a smile to a child and I think that is what it is all about. Nice product.

I got the samoyed for my birthday,and although the last reviewer was right about it shedding alot, it is not very bad now. I named her dakota, and she is holding together nicley. she was my second webkinz pet, I have three now and not one of them has a hole. the samoyed was released in may 2008 and retired in june 2008,and that makes it pretty rare.
The website is fun and educationaland, kids (and adults)will play on webkinz. A Kid's Review
got the samoyed for my birthday,and although the last reviewer was right about it shedding alot, it is not very bad now. I named her dakota, and she is holding together nicley. she was my second webkinz pet, I have three now and not one of them has a hole. the samoyed was released in may 2008 and retired in june 2008,and that makes it pretty rare.

The website is fun and educationaland, kids (and adults)will play on webkinz. I am twelve and continue to enjoy webkinz. once you adopt your webkinz you can make a room for it, feed it, and earn kinzcash for it by playing games.(kinzcash can be used to expand your webkinz house and buy food and funiture for your pet)I reccommend webkinz to any one who enjoys animals and computers.

Great webkinz and fun site but pitiful responses
I like webkinz but my favorite is the turtle. It's a great and safe website but it isn't very educational. About the only thing that really is sort of educational is the Question Corner. You answer questions in different catigories like Math and Social Studies. The Ganz site is very alike to Tamagotchis, Club Penguin, ect. The website claims that they have a "fun educational site for kids" which is true, but not so "educationl". As a typical 10 year old, I do not play with the plush toy. Many young children do though.

The games are pretty fun but if you are a pretty experienced gameplayer, you can tell that they are very alike but the names are different and story. Not to brag, but I am a very experienced game player for a 10-year-old boy. I have seen a lot of games on webkinz that are alike from other game sites.

The typical webkinz is at a ridculous price around 13.00. I am being raised by a froogle mother, so that's just me. Lot's of people would agree with that statement though. Amazon is weird because some are more than others, but the game is really the same. The only difference is the little animal and the "pet exclusive item" and the "pet food". These animated items HARDLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

My cousin and his friend also wrote a review saying basicly the same thing. The responses are terrible saying things like " We will do what we can to fix your problem." . They said something like that to my cousin and was angry.

Hey! I'm 13. I was first introduced to webkinz this July while I was on vacation. Before then I had no idea what a webkin was. I bought two the collie and the bunny! When I got home I went on the website. It's amazing! There are so many games, you can decorate your own house, feed your pets, win money, play trivia! Everything you can think of! I love webkinz! I'm one of the biggest fans i have 99 now btw. If your stuck on a gift to buy anyone... even though they are stuffed animals... buy a webkin today!

Huge webkinz fan
This one is for my 3 year old.
The 4 stars in durability are because of the fly-away hairs it has for it's mane and tail, they could have choose something more durable. The pegasus seems stiffer not as "bean baggy" or floppy and playful as some of the other animals.

Online it's safe, educational, and fun for the kids. They don't realize that they are learning which gives me peace of mind.

If you have a girly princess-loving toddler, this IS the gift to give!

I got this furry friend in February 2006. Simply adorable! it was my first webkinz i ever had in my life, and i had lots of fun with it! the website is well done and well put-together and VERY educational! They also put advertisements(Not those ads that are viruses, its ads that the website makes) reminding you to eat veggies and fruits, get outside and play and brush your teeth! Its an amazing toy!

Basset hound is tooo cute!
This is a very cute dog and made well. For the price it is a tad smallish? But is perfect size for a kid to carry around without knocking down everything she comes into contact with. His face is too adorable with the folds like a real basset hound around the eyes. The picture does not do it justice. My daughter received this for her birthday and really loves him. The website is fun and has plenty of games for kids to earn cash so they can take care of their "pet". I can see why it is so popular and why the stuffed animals are so expensive. But the look on my daughter's face when she got "Barky" was priceless.

This Webkinz Golden retriever is one of the many Webkinz plush toys that my kids sleep with or play with for hours on line with virtual chores and jobs. Overall, as long as they don't spend too long on the computer, this is a wonderful toy.

easier than the real thing
I bought this for my four year old son's collection (he now has four!)The plush is very soft and well made. It is literally like having two toys in one since it is a Webkinz and comes with the "secret" code to use on the Webkinz website. He has hours of age appropriate play on the site and a bed time buddy for sleeping.

We love Webkinz!!
My daughter has been collecting Webkinz since January. The Golden Retriever is so cute -- both for real and animated! These toys are great -- not only do you get an adorable stuffed animal to play with, but you can bring them to life on-line and play games with them and feed and clothe them. My daughter has developed quite a sense for shopping and how to wisely spend her money on items she wants and needs using KinzCash. I bought this for my little sister for christmas. She's been asking for one for a long time! It's soft and plush, and comes with it's own membership I.D for the website. I even check out the website, so if you are worried about your little one being on the internet with this toy, i guarantee nothing bad will happen. The website has a specific dictionary of words that your child can ONLY use to talk with. You can't use any numbers, and any words that show up in the text that aren't part of the dictionary show up in red, and the message will not be sent. It's a fun little interactive game, and really helps kids to use their imagination! Its cheap too!

Retired Webkinz are Hard to Find!,

I purchased this two months before my daughter's birthday because it had just retired and she really wanted all the cat Webkinz that Ganz produced. Unfortunately, I'll never be able to afford the first Webkinz Cat that was retired: the Cheeky Cat. But when dear daughter got the grey and white cat for her birthday it quickly became her favorite present (with the new iPod Nano a close second!) She is just thrilled to now own a retired Webkinz. It seems having a retired Webkinz is a major status symbol in elementary school now.

And, yes, she does play the educational games on Webkinz World (on the internet) that the secret code on the tag gives the Webkinz owner access to.

My daughter is in LOVE with Webkinz! She gets SOOOO excited when she has a letter or package, and can't wait to do her daily Gem Hunt and Wheel of Wow.
From a parents standpoint, it's teaching her to really care for a pet, and I love that feeding them veggies/fruits make the animals healthier. She is only 3yrs old, so I had to help her navigate at first, but she is really learning to recognize the words on the site, and can now sign on and play all by herself. I love playing the games too...I must say it's a lot of fun for parents too. Overall...a great idea...and would recommend it highly!

A Kid's Review.
This is one of the coolest webkinz they have out there! She is very soft and cuddly. My sister got this one about three months ago and it is not falling apart or anything. after we put it online (with no problems) we had a blast! as for educational value I would give this toy 5 stars, for example; the quickest way to earn kinzcash (which you can spend on your pet) is the educational quiz section where you can answer health, math, language, and other school related questions. you can do all sorts of rooms for your pet and have your friends come over and see them! they also have a kinzchat system where you use drop down menues to creat senteces, and no personal info can be sent! we have a fast internet browser on our computer which helps alot when logging in to webkinz, but occasionaly we have to log out on saturdays 'cause there are too many people trying to login and it freezes up. it works good on week day mornings though. I reccomend this webkinz for all animal lovers!

Our oldest wants a real dog, so was excited about the collie. We had no problems setting it up on the computer because we already had an account. Be careful though when setting up an account. Our 7 year old was extremely dissappointed when something went wrong with the set-up and there is no way to fix it, so we were never able to get our very first webkinz on the computer to play with it. That is a flaw in their system. Also you should be aware that the computer game access is only free for one year, then a parent must pay a subscription fee for the child to continue playing online!(This is not disclosed when you buy the toy, only after). All in all the kids love webkinz.

The Webkinz Collies is a stuffed animal that comes alive online in webkinz world. It is energetic, faithful, hard working and this pretty animal sums up all the best features of this cool collie. The collie is a herding dog, so it loves organizing parties and gathering large groups of friends to play with. If you are looking for a pet that loves having lots to do than adopt a cool collie.

All Webkinz come with a tag. Inside the tag there is a code that lets you into Webkinz World. Be careful though! If you lose the tag, you will not be able to access Webkinz World. You will need the tag if you ever need to change your password too, so don't throw it away after making your Webkinz account.

When you make your webkinz account, you will be greeted by a computer character named Ms. Birdy. She will lead you through the steps of adopting your webkinz, like creating a name for your webkinz pet, a username, the gender of your pet, and other steps like that. Don't worry about remembering your secret code because all you need to do is enter your username and password. Remember that your username is different than your pet's name.

When you are through the process of adopting your pet, you will be in your room. There you can see your pet walk around. You can also decorate your room. You can buy a room by pressing the map button in the upper left corner. There is a small room, a medium room, a large room, and a outdoor room. In the outdoor room you can buy seed packets and garden daily, you can place furniture in the outdoor room, but only certain items. House items you can't put in the outdoor rooms, and vice versa. There are some items that you can put inside and outside.

When you adopt a pet, you will start off with 2000 kinzcash. Kinzcash is what you use to buy furniture, food, games, decorations and more. You can earn kinzcash by playing games in the arcade and tournament arena. You can also get kinzcash by selling things.

Playing games is a good way to earn kinzcash. You can play games in the arcade, and the tournament arena. In the arcade there are lots of games. In the tournament arena, you play against real players. See below about kinzchat and friends. Anyway there are lots of other different games in the tournament arena. Some games in the tournament arena are not multi-player.

In the clubhouse you can make friends and chat with different people. Be aware that these are real people. With kinzchat, there are pre-made sentences that you use so there are no inappropriate words used. There are also no numbers, so personal information such as addresses and phone numbers can not be shared. You can also make friends. With friends you can invite them over to to your house and invite them to play multiplayer games with you.

You have to feed your pet, and keep it happy and healthy. Webinz CAN NOT die, but can get sick. When they get sick you have to bring it to Dr. Quack's Clinic. You might also want to bring your pet when it's not sick so your pet can have a checkup.

There are 2 places to shop. At the W-Shop you can find everything, and sometimes things are on sale. There is also the Curio Shop where you might find rare items. Arte Fact greets you at the Curio Shop. You can also do a gem hunt daily. If you get all 30 gems you get a Crown of Wonder.

There are some daily things you can do, like The Wishing Well 2 and the Wheel of WOW. Also you can do a gem hunt ( see above ), do a job at the Employment Office, do a daily care award, and garden.

There are a few other things I should mention. Quizzy's is a educational quiz corner with lots of questions for all ages. It is the fastest way to earn kinzcash. When you log in you will always arrive at the newspaper. The newspaper changes every week usually on Wednesday, and Thursday. Sometimes the front cover story changes more often to announce important things.

Sometimes there is a glitch in the site when the site is busy. You can have better luck getting on in the afternoon or morning. Weekends and evenings are VERY busy.

My son recently got a Tiger Snake and it's definitely his favorite Webkinz! The snake itself is about 3 feet long, and is curved in such a way that it coils up into a neat little pile. My son has had a great time wrapping his snake around himself and actually walks around with it coiled around his neck!

As with all of the Webkinz toys, this snake comes with a code that allows your child to go to webkinz.com online and play with a virtual version of the pet. The animated snake is pretty neat. It's cute the way it slithers across the floor, and is adorable when it curls up to go to sleep. It can wear a hat, shirt, and glasses, but can't wear pants and shoes. Maybe Webkinz World will come out with snake bottoms before long! Overall, a great Webkinz to add to your collection.

I got a super deal on this around Christmas - I think it was only about $13! It was definitely worth $13. At first it made my one year old cry. I think she thought there was something wrong with Cookie. But then she got used to him and she loves him. He made my husband and I laugh like crazy the first time we tried him out, especially when he says at the end "Oh, THAT GOOD ONE!" I agree with others; he is a big battery hog. I haven't changed out the batteries yet, so he can't move around as well right now. But he does still bend over and shake a bit, and his voice is still good. So it doesn't really matter to a one-year-old! I am glad we got it, but might not be as thrilled if he had been over $20 (as he is as of this writing.)
